Administration:

The College is a registered Society under the Societies Act. The College is solely run by the Church of North India. The Moderator of the Church of North India is the President of the Society. The Society elects a Board of Management which has one of the bishops of the CNI as its Chairman. The Society meets once a year for its AGM while the Board of Management meets three to four times a year. The Principal is the ex-officio Secretary of the Board of Management.

Accreditation/Affiliation Status:

Bishop’s College is affiliated to the Senate of Serampore College (University).

Alumni:

The President of the Bishop’s College Alumni Association (BCAA) is the Rt. Revd. Sameer I Khimla, Bishop of Durgapur (CNI). The Secretary is Revd. Aman Abhishek Prasad, Diocese of Agra (CNI). The Alumni Affairs Co-ordinators are Ms. Nokcharenla, Assistant Professor of Old Testament & Rev. Dr. Prof. Swarup Bar, Professor of Systematic Theology.

How to apply:

If you would like to apply for the BD course and the last date for receiving of applications has not passed then please download the form from the website and fill it in and send it to the College address along with an application form of Rs. 500/- through a Demand Draft [on a bank in Kolkata] or Cheque favour of BISHOP’S COLLEGE GENERAL FUND. The last date for receiving the Admission Form is 30 January, 2024. Download Admission form.

Which degree is right for me?

If you have a BA/B.Sc/B.Com, then you can apply for the B.D. degree (4 years). Currently Bishop’s College is offering 5 years BD held after 12th Std. If you are interested in the M.Th. or D.Th. degree then please visit the website – www.niipgts.in
